I came across one the other day that I’m using all the time already:

“Send a list of browser tab URLs to email, webmail, or clipboard.”

The way I work, I’m constantly adding tabs to an open browser.
Although I can “Save All Bookmarks” in a batch in Firefox, or
save them individually in my “Linkman” desktop software,
neither of these two options is altogether satisfactory.

But this “Send Tab URLs” plugin — it’s super!
I just click an icon and swhisht there’s a numbered list
of the urls of all my open tabs … complete with page titles!

N.B.

I discovered a sort of companion to it called …

•••> Copy Fixer 1.1.2 —
“Copy title and URL using Control/Command-C”

The name is a little strange, but don’t let that throw you.
It just means that you can click on any page you’re on
and then click control-C and presto!
you get the title of the page and the URL … like this …

How cool is that !!!

I never thought of that! Apple does like the secrecy and shrouds its products before launch. But if you never share and drop hints, people won’t show much interest. You can’t be so secretive that absolutely no one has any idea at all! I think Apple knows this, too. No one had much clue about the I4, so a bombshell like this one, could play nicely into teasing public interest!

They could even shift the writing slightly towards updating on the book – even if it is completely irrelevant, the presence will be useful for the blog’s authority. You’re right though, they should give monetizing a go, it can’t do any harm and it might well bring a bit of handy money while the book is being written!

I just don’t think Tyler really thought through the implications of a.) Flash Software b.) Customer Fickleness and c.) Legal Implications of taking on such a partner. I know that he didn’t think through the investment implications clearly at all. But his biggest weakness could be his refusal to really listen and discuss things. He never really explained in much detail anything about the game, the Terms of the Agreement, … He just did what he wanted to do. That’s not the best foundation for a good partnership. In fact, he never even used the word partnership.

It’s difficult to know what other word he could use, though, to describe Risk without Reward, Money without Responsibility, etc.

What if a blog reader who has $15,000 in savings they worked hard for years to earn wanted to invest? Would Tyler have taken the money?

I’m glad no one invested and while I wish him luck he’s undertaking a project in an industry he’s never worked in before that he really knows nothing about. People are criticizing the idea as well as the investment. I don’t think the outlook will be good.
