Well, Adsense isn’t really working and there are many ways to make money now without Adsense. Perhaps that’s why Google is reacting the way it is… There’s a lot more competition from Adbrite, Yahoo, etc. etc. There are dozens of companies in the space where there used to be only one.

It’s amazing how bad a hit from google can hurt. Especially when you cannot appeal or your appeal is not heard. I’m still slightly bitter over adsense, but have since moved on. I feel your pain.
