Woops! Update Error.
After announcing the recent update to my top bloggers feed download, I just noted that the feed download link in the footer of the RSS feed hadn’t been updated. Now that’s a big Woops! It is working now.
I did make it easier to update in future, though, by using a single link everywhere that never changes. But the link in that page does change whenever I need it. It’s a trick used by affiliates to mask links, but it also saves a lot of trouble!
Making Money Tips
———–
Unique domain names should be selected in order to gain the popularity of the websites. The subscription of adsl connection is offered in the feasible rates by the different service providers. You may also get some additional packages of the web hosting with the inclusion of email marketing services. The all-inclusive web hosting plans of various service providers are presented to attract the potential customer services.

In the past week, I have come across two new ways to make money online. Both are in betas at the moment, so I don’t know when they will be launched properly.
Link Nerve
We are releasing a new product today in closed beta exclusively for Blogitive members that I’m certain everyone will be excited about. It’s called Link Nerve and it makes getting paid through your blog even easier.
Link Nerve allows prospective clients to search the pages of your blog that are already indexed in search engines. When the prospect finds a term within your post that interests them, they can make an offer to you through Link Nerve to have that term linked to their website. Unlike Blogitive, you will not be required to write new posts or create new pages, only to link terms within your existing posts/pages and get paid per link.
Offers are sent to you via email or can be viewed on the Link Nerve website. When you receive an offer, you can decide if you want to reject the offer or complete it, every offer has a deadline.
Blogitive will continue to operate the same as always. We hope everyone likes the Link Nerve system. More specific details are provided when you receive an offer.
One review of LinkNerve is on Mashable dot com. Unfortunately this is a closed beta so I’m not able to provide any more insight. If you already signed up with Blogitive a while ago, you may be able to access your account at LinkNerve.

EntreCard
The other is EntreCard which announced that bloggers will be able to trade their entrecard credits in a marketplace type activity. As you may have noticed I just surprised myself by joining EntreCard. I decided to join to see if I could get additional traffic for my blogs, and it seems to be working. But the other feature isn’t turned on yet: entrecard trading.

This might be a good way to get additional $$$, but I suspect the pricing may be quite cheap. Also, many bloggers simply use this as a way to get traffic. So I’m not sure that the market will be that deep or fluid. Still, it’s already creating interest in my blog.
The exchange isn’t active yet: “We are not currently performing trades, we are collecting information regardingly likely pricing. Please set your prices realistically – there may not be a warning before this goes live.”
It is interesting that John Cow stopped doing EntreCard and cited some good reasons . Still, it’s good for traffic to my blog even though the bounce rate is over 90%.
PR is back. Yawn!
InvestorBlogger also has got some PR again. I noted last night that it was a PR2 in the toolbar. So I ran some checks through several different PR checking sites. 2/3 confirmed the PR. I have noted that other bloggers are also reporting some PR when there was none. I’m so glad that I didn’t submit for reinclusion , it’s quite clear that Google is now suffering from its hubris both in financial terms and in reputational terms. I still …

I won’t say it’s a victory for bloggers or anything, but it’s high time that Google ate some humble pie. In saying that, I do appreciate that they get many things right as well. In terms of my own blog, I may at some time in the future go no_follow at least in part, but it won’t be because of Google. I haven’t so far decided to submit to their hegemony by asking for reinclusion: it’s unlikely I will.
In other news: Asus Eee 900, Warren Buffett…
Asus Announced its Asus Eee PC 900 and there is an excellent article about Warren Buffett republished from the Observer in the Taipei Times for today. And lastly, we just got a membership catalogue for Costco, and boy there are some juicy bargains coming up! I have my eyes on an LCD TV in May, the discount just is amazing…. So I guess that will be a budget buster. Anyone here shop at Costco?
There won’t be any Sunday postings this week or any Carnivals either. But stay tuned! I’ll be back on Monday!
