I use online coupons. If I can order from out of state with free shipping, I have saved 8.75% sales tax and the shipping charges. Plus, I save gasoline and time.

In a sense, you're right. When coupons are rare, then the offer is a special deal. But when coupons are offered every day, they become the retailer's nightmare, because they undermine the price considerably. What is it really worth if you can find a coupon giving you more than $10 savings?

Here for carnival. Interesting idea but speaking for myself I rarely have enough money saved from any coupon to spend almost that much on gas and my time going to the bank. I'm not a big fan of online deals. If I am being told on a regular basis that with this coupon I can save $x dollars, I know someone else has the same for less and that the company offering it is making too much money on me.
For example, for hosting I only recommend Surpass Hosting. They rock! They always offer low prices for really huge packages and no coupons needed. Three or four times a year they'll offer some super deal, but nothing on any ongoing basis like so many of these hosts have. No affiliate program because we recommend them because based on experience and not money. And they have a forum of really friendly users that are always willing to help or chat.
