Hey ;)

I read yesterday on the PPP forums that you if you have more than $10 in adsense, you can quit the program and claim the monies owed to you. It might be worth doing that before Google kick out all the anti-google people. ;) I can't find the post now but check their terms of service, it's in there.

Thanks for the linkage. I think it is easy to dump gmail - or at the very least use pop3 to collect the gmail messages instead and maybe drop in there once a week to make sure nothing important has gone into spam.

Cheers,
Snoskred

I wrote a post about the same idea back when the PRs started dropping. I no longer use Google Reader, (2 desktop readers I love are GreatNews and Snarfer-open source so they're free), Uninstalled both Google Earth and Google Desktop, use either Yahoo or Ask for searches, (although I really miss Google's Image Search), removed the toolbar from Firefox and I use the ad-blocker. Gmail is hard to get rid of right now because so many people use the two email addresses I have-one which is personal/business and the other for my blog. Inbox.com and Yahoo mail are ok, but I like reading my mail offline.
