Having just closed down my HSBC account in the pursuit of higher interest rates here, I was pleased to receive this opportunity to write about SavingsAccounts.com. Its tagline is Compare online banking savings accounts and find a new savings account or checking account that earns more interest today with SavingsAccounts.com.

I found about 11 accounts on SavingsAccounts.com that pay 5% or more p.a. which is a pretty decent return for just a few minutes surfing. True to our aim, finding such a convenient way to keep uptodate with account rates should really all the great rate-tarts out there!

  1. It’s odd! I quit my HSBC account because there interest rates weren’t as good here, but what do I see? HSBC on the image with the highest interest rates on the page!

    Well, I can’t explain it just yet…
