I’ll take a look at ING Direct… We’re both engaged in a longer term project… it’s got to be a longer term so we can learn the ropes!

We’re some way off at the moment, but blogging is going to be only a small part of it. Why don’t you get a proper domain?

Loved your post! I am also a fan of multiple streams of income. I have now been working on blogging/internet marketing for about two years, and cannot say that it has paid off monetarily, but I believe that I am increasing my learning every day, and in 10 years, it will be not a trickle, but a stream!

In terms of interest from your bank accounts, I would recommend ING Direct! They are great! And there is no minimum balance.

I am in a part-time business with a friend, in an LLC, for real estate investing.

Also, I consult part-time.

You may want to combine niche business and small business into one stream of income, to increase your focus.

Jake, I don’t think that I’m doing anything special here, these options are available to most people. It DOES take focus, determination and sweat to make the most of ANY of these. But once you learn the ropes, it gets easier!

My income came from 20 different sources. not different sectors, mind you. I count adsense and kontera as different income streams, even though they’re bought online and blog-related.
