11th Carnival of Making REAL Money: February 3rd 2008.
Welcome to the last issue of carnival of making real money before Chinese New Year 2008. This edition is hosted on the new website/blog: MakingREALMoneyBlog. Like before, I’ve performed my editor’s trick of whittling away a bunch of crap to leave the gems that remain glistening, bright and informative! - Ian Richardson presents What do Spaghetti Westerns and Internet Marketing have in common? posted at Make Everything EzyAs123 in which he looks at some of the pitfalls of Internet Marketing and how things are getting better by the ‘fistful’.
- Ed Rivis presents Powerful Marketing Tactic. posted at Ed Rivis. He suggests that giving away a free book may be a great idea. And if you already have a large body of work (like a blog or website or folder of documents), you can adapt your existing content to an e-book format and give it away. Worth reading.
- Robert Phillips presents Market Research is OVERRATED posted at CYBERCA$HOLOGY. And this is something I witnessed when my wife started her current business. She already knew everything she needed. Read it.
- Woody Maxim presents It really is a numbers game posted at Woody Maxim. He advises us all to track our numbers carefully before calling something a loss or a profit! Wise advice.

- Jose DeJesus MD presents Jumbo Mortgage – Stimulus Package may Save You Money posted at Physician Entrepreneur, notes that regulations will make it easier to qualify for jumbo mortgages. It’s difficult to see much benefit for new buyers, though existing mortgages may see savings.
- vld2czech presents StockWeb: Global fixed income with high yield. posted at StockWeb, saying, “Which funds are offering highest dividend yield?” Some practical suggestions.
- cfgoulart presents How to Earn 10% on Your Money posted at Making Money Resources, saying, “Make your money work for you, a nifty idea on how to make a real 10% return on your investment.” He suggests lending money via one of the online lending companies now springing up. Read about it. It’s interesting.
- Tony John presents Tenant Quality Affects Property Value posted at TonyJohnInvesting.com. This advice is based on hard earned success in the rental market.

- Carol Bentley presents Outsourcing or when DIY writing is best posted at Carol Bentley. Carol helps small bloggers and business owners decide which route is best for them with some very practical suggestions.
- Frederic Patenaude presents Make a Living With e-books posted at Frederic Patenaude Talks, saying, “Frederic Patenaude talks about how you can make money online selling e-books.” He outlines how he created his own e-books.
- Charles Eglinton presents eBay Seller Customer Service posted at AuctionIncome.com – eBay Bidding Tips & Selling Tips. He encourages eBay sellers to go the extra mile as it’s reflected in the comments left by customers! It’s good for your reputation, too.
- James D. Brausch presents Turn Off The Tube & Turn On Your Business posted at Internet Business Blog. James encourages us all to get off our butts and actually do SOMETHING, ANYTHING! Way to go!
- Stephen Dean presents If You Don’t Implement Scarcity, Your Sales Letter Sucks… posted at Stephen Dean’s Copywriting And Internet Advertising Blog – Copywriter. He does suggest that scarcity can help sell, if used appropriately. I’d agree, but most people who try that on me FAIL. I just walk, UNLESS I know that it is true, or it is self-evident.
- Richard Lee presents Internet Business Ideas posted at Richard Lee and a couple of useful tips for those who always forget to write down their million-dollar ideas.
